We are published, copyrighted, and in circulation.  Check out our page to learn about our book or meet us at the annual cemetery meeting this month to pick up your copy.  Through donations, we were able to donate 2 copies to the public library in El Reno, OK.  Here is a pic of our secretary Jane Moore dropping off a copy.

Notice of Meeting:

The community is invited to join the Beecham Cemetery Association for its annual meeting on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 3101 Shortgrass Rd, Edmond, OK 73003.

Please enjoy a community lunch with us at noon and plan to bring a dish to contribute to our potluck.  The meeting will begin softly at 1:00p. We'll introduce our current projects at the cemetery as well as debut our book "Blistered Heels".

Donations items and gifts to include in our fundraising raffle are also welcome.  Raffle tickets will be available for 25 for $20.  Items will include gift cards to local restaurants and businesses, Beecham family heirlooms, antiques, and household items.  Venmo and cash are accepted for tickets.

"Blistered Heels" will be available to purchase in soft and hardback for $20 and $30 as well as PDF copies for $5.  "Blistered Heels" tells the beginning of the Beecham story in Territorial Oklahoma through descendant Elsie Davidson as she documents the accounts of Nathan Beecham and his journey from orphan, to soldier, to a pioneer who settled in the Okarche/El Reno area in the late 1800's.  The story of our cemetery begins with Nathan Beecham’s family and friends and their part in the story of America's Western expansion.  All sales of "Blistered Heels" benefit the BCA and contribute to the perpetual care of our historic cemetery.

For more information, press releases, and info on attending virtually, please contact our Vice President Kimmy Moore at ConnectMoore@gmail.com To learn more, visit our website at beechamcemetery.org
